John Pasowicz is a designer and fabricator practicing in the Chicagoland area where his freelance work aims to explore the making of architecture through theoretical practice. 

 

During the Spring of 2015 his work has been featured in the IIT College of Architecture Open House. He also received an honorable mention for iitexposure disposable camera competition.

 

John taught an architecture camp at the Illinois Institute of Technology as a Part Time Professor. He has also assisted with the same summer architecture camp, and other workshops at Illinois Institute of Technology. His work has been exhibited in Chicago and Savannah and has been published in AIAS Crit and Illinois Tech News. John received his BArch from the Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture in 2015 and is currently employed at von Weise Associates. He has worked for Chipman Design Architecture, IPSA Corp, and Gustave Reyes. 

 

He is also co-founder of Scope, an architecture beyond architecture publication/event organization with Jesse Pazmiño.
